Brief: New Apple products
Today, Apple announced a slew of new products, which include the much rumoured aluminum iMac, which apparently has the same sort of design except much thinner. Today also saw the death of the 17" iMac, and price drops on all the models (20", 20", and 24"). Of course, this new iMac also came with a new keyboard. Which is what you've seen on the internet already. There are two versions: a shorter wireless one that uses Bluetooth, and a longer version that is wired.
And what would this even be without iLife? iLife '08 contains new versions of each application, including event organizing in iPhoto, a rewritten version of iMovie, and .Mac Album. Speaking of .Mac, the minuscule 1GB that was given has now been upgraded to 10GB.
Also, iWork '08 was released. It contains a new application: Numbers. The direct competitor to Microsoft Office.
That is the brief of what was released today.
